Resources for DWI and Traffic Cases
DMV Appointment: If you need to visit the DMV to pay fines or fees, take a road test, or handle other license issues, you can avoid the wait by scheduling an appointment. Click here to schedule an appointment at the DMV.
DWI Assessment: If you’re charged with a DWI, it is extremely beneficial to get a substance use assessment as soon as possible and comply with the recommended hours of treatment. If found guilty, this will not only mitigate sentencing, but will also be required by the court through probation and by the DMV to reinstate your driving privileges. Click here to find an assessment provider near you.
SCRAM: If you have been charged with your second or subsequent DWI, you may be eligible for an alternative to jail by wearing a Continuance Alcohol Monitor. Ask your attorney if you are eligible for SCRAM Systems (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor).

Ignition Interlock: If you are convicted of a DWI and the court finds you have a BAC (Blood Alcohol Concentration) of .15 or greater, the DMV requires you to keep an ignition interlock system for 12 months after the conviction, before you can have your driver’s license reinstated. Use the links below to explore interlock options in this area.
